Do you fear asking for help?
What comes up for you? That you are weak, you don’t deserve it, somebody else will take control, the timing isn’t right.
I often hear clients say to me, I rarely ask for help.
My favourite questions when I hear this are….
‘I am curious what happens when somebody asks you for help? Do you help them?’
Think about the last time you helped somebody; how did it feel? Good..
And what else?’
I often hear clients say they felt significant, appreciated, trusted.
I would encourage you to reframe your thought process. What if the person you asked for help, felt the same feelings?
